In a stroke of very good fortune, I'm soon going to be in Edinburgh for the International Book Festival, a trip that includes the brilliant promise of hearing Colm Toibin, Rachel Cusk, Benjamin Wood, Hermione Lee, Marina Warner, and many others speak.
